Guided tour to Quistococha National Tourist Park. Among its attractions you will find a zoo with animal species exclusively native to northern Peru rainforest and the beautiful spring fed natural lake which gives its name to the park.

Itinerary

• Transfer from your hotel in Iquitos to the Quistococha National Tourist Park located 3 miles SW of the city near the new Iquitos - Nauta road.

• Guided visit to the park’s zoo where you will see some species of the vast Amazon rainforest fauna including tapirs, giant river otters, caimans, anacondas, ocelots, jaguars as well as different kinds of primates. You will also see the “paiche” (Arapaima giga), the world’s largest fresh water species.

• Visit the beautiful Quistococha Lake and its white-sand beach. If you wish you can sunbathe or swim.

• There is also a small museum in this place, an aquarium, a restaurant, souvenir and pedal-boat rental shops

• At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

* Estimated time for the Tour: Three hours
* Daily departures from Iquitos- 10 am. and 02 pm.
